1. cooked scalloped potatoes and ham in crockpot
2. cooked cabbage in crockpot
3. conversed with husband throughout the day
4. talked with all three daughters on the phone, more than once
5. talked with my mom via telephone
6. my mother-in-law phone for a brief visit
7. watching Hogs basketball

A Simple Pleasure

The Ducks knocked on my bedroom window early this morning. They ordered the usual, white bread, quarted and served on a wet bed of dead grass. As they swam away, I heard Daisy telling Huey she planned to visit her restaurant again around 5:00.
